Although the Faculty of Radio and Television Production was established in 2012 at the same time as the other faculties of the IRIBU, some of its courses date back to the beginning of the formation of the College of Television and Cinema in 1970. The department started its activities with a short period of one year. Later, this course was expanded to Associate degree in production. In 1985, the Associate degree in production was upgraded to the Bachelor’s degree in production. In 1997, the Master's in TV production was also added to the majors of the faculty. In 2006, the department of radio began to operate, and with the promotion of the faculty to university in 2012, the Faculty of Radio and Television Production was established.
